The first number in the room becomes the room — everything after it is felt as distance. You will be anchored either way. The only choice is whose anchor.

A serious attempt has two possible outcomes: the result you wanted, or a paid report on reality you couldn't have bought any other way. The tuition is spent either way. Collecting it is the entire game.

Paper is the cheapest place you will ever be wrong. Every page of design is a month of rework you'll never do. Most people skip the page, do the month, and call it experience.

Code, deals, minds, markets — never different subjects. One question wearing costumes: how do systems hold, and where do they break? The people who answer it best are the ones who refused to pick a costume.

You agreed to the platform's terms. Nobody agreed to yours. There is no document anywhere in which the feed promises to show your work to the people who asked for it. That isn't partnership. That's tenancy.

Five hundred years of censorship went after the same machine — never the book, always the press. The feed is just the newest printing license. It owns you politely.

You cannot hold a strong position while your own shadow negotiates against you from under the table. Strategy begins as an external discipline. It survives only as an internal one.

What a person insists on three times unprompted is a coordinate. The insistence marks the spot. Works on institutions, on leaders, and — less comfortably — on you.

Nobody's mask hides them. The mask is a model of its audience — what the wearer believes this room rewards and punishes. Read the mask and you get both: the strategy, and the fear underneath it.

Every important decision is made twice — once where it's decided, once where it's announced. If you've only ever sat at visible tables, you're not where decisions happen. You're where they land.
